This is a family-owned property, with the family on the premises running the motel. That can be very good, or it can be very bad. The Apollo falls somewhere in the middle. The rooms are very nice, clean, and spacious, and the owners clearly take pride in their property. Unfortunately, the owners' attempts at frugality detract from the experience. You... More

A group of six of us stayed one night, and they made us feel most welcome. If you are in the Merritt Island area on business and you're cheap like I am, you might consider staying at the Apollo Inn. My stay there was for 2 weeks in early June.
