We came to Desin for the seafood festival. I found a 5th floor condo on the second floor on VRBO very reasonably priced. The location was excellent. We stayed in 231. Loved the location, view, and wraparound balcony. The unit had all the dishes pots and pans, as well as a washer and dryer. We enjoyed our stay so very much. We stayed in a gulf front unit, 1181, and it was wonderful, yet again. We had 3 children and 5 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. We have stayed at Mainsail for 2 years and both have been more then expected. The staff is wonderful and the property is beautiful.

Been coming for years. Mainsail is an older building but it has been kept up quite well. The pool improvements in the front and back are complete. Stayed in unit 1184 and it was wonderful! Could not have asked for more or better. Going back the first week of May and staying in a Gulf Front view condo! Can't wait

This is a nice complex. We stayed in #341. Very nicely decorated with modern furniture including flat screens, view of the beach and pool. A little further away from Destin than I have stayed before but quieter and not so crowded. I would stay here again just maybe in a different room with a better view of the ocean.

I have stayed at Mainsail 3 times, both in 2 bedroom condo. You are not as close to the beach as you are in a 3 bedroom, but the way the condos are angled, you have an awesome view of the ocean. The rooms I've stayed in were awesome. Be sure and ask for a Platinum room.. not any difference... More
