I didn't spend much time at this hotel but I do remember visiting it years ago and thinking that it really needed an update and it did get a decent make-over. The lobby really has a zen-like atmosphere to it that it quite trendy and peaceful at the same time. The hotel is literally a 2 minute drive to the... More

This is an older hotel by today's standards but impressed us as being very well maintained. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We asked for a seafood restaurant recommendation and the desk clerk mentioned two -- we opted for the 15th Street Fisheries and the food was excellent. The concierge ordered a taxi for the short ride over there... More

We stayed here upon return from a cruise (out of the Port of Miami). Since we're not terribly familiar with Fort Lauderdale we booked using an online service where you select a star rating but don't know where you're staying until after you book. It seems like the hotel facilities (lobby, conference rooms, restaurant, etc.) should be rated higher than... More

We booked this hotel to be closer to the beach for Memorial Day Weekend after having such a lovely experience at the Renaissance hotel in Plantation. There is no comparison! We self parked in the garage ($25 per night) and walked through a horrible stench through a hallway to get to lobby. There was no line and they attended right... More

My family stayed here for 3 nights for the Memorial Day weekend. From the moment we pulled in, to the moment we left, everything was wonderful:) The employees are all so helpful and attentive. But, there was one employee named Debra who works at the front desk check in area, who really made our stay even more memorable. She was... More

Although the rooms are a little tired, they are clean. The staff was just amazing!! They helped coordinate a block of rooms for family and friends for my daughters wedding aboard Allure of the Seas. They took personal interest in the wedding and made sure that our group was well taken care of. This hotel has a great little pool... More

Great price!! Can't say anything bad in particular, but can't say anything overwhelmingly good either. The lobby is decorated beautifully but is missing warmth...... Both figuratively speaking and temperature wise. I went down to the restaurant my first night for dinner and could not bare it again. The whole first floor public space is FREEZING!! Room was nice, clean..... I... More

Our family of nine stayed here recently. We found the desk staff more than helpful, very friendly and went out of their way to assist us. The room was a good size, the beds were comfortable and the location was great; very close to the airport and the beaches were not far. We also walked to Panera and Publix. Parking... More

We stayed here the night before our cruise left Port Everglades, and it was a terrible experience. When we walked through the lobby, we thought that the Renaissance would be a nice stay. However, the front staff reception was as chilly as the lobby (it was cold!). When we went to unpack our car, a bellman came out to "assist"... More

We stayed at this hotel pre-cruise in September. The location was ideal with the entrance to port everglades mere steps away (or a $10 cab ride). The beach is just across the 17th street causeway and you can catch the sun trolley during the day for 50 cents each way to get there. There are also many shops and restaurants... More
