Noticeably upscale, the Ritz has been successful in establishing a service level equal to the best cruise ships. To explain, they have meals plans available where you can eat 24 hours a day. It looks like they have concierge service for each floor. Room service orders are done at the speed of light and my pet peeve has been fixed....yes... More

If you are looking to spend a pleasant well cared for weekend in Fort Lauderdale and money is not an issue, consider this hotel as one of your choices. They provide exceptional service with excellent amenities. Beach access with complimentary lounges and umbrella or sit poolside with waiter and lunch service.

Good service! Rooms a little dated get close to needing a refresh. Great views friendly attentive staff. Super pool.

Recently stayed at the Ritz in Ft Lauderdale with my wife and three children (connecting rooms on the 7th floor which is pool level - perfect ), We arrived very earlier after our cruise had ended and the Ritz staff was very accomodating. They worked quickly to get our rooms ready. The rooms are huge and well appointed. Bathrooms and... More

You know the adage, you get what you pay for? Well, perhaps nowhere is this better exemplified than the Ritz in Fort Lauderdale. From the bottled water on arrival to the spacious and beautifully appointed rooms, this hotel is unparalleled in terms of service and value. Its primo beach location complete with beach concierge doesn't hurt either. This hotel lives... More

Travellers should be aware that this is a Starwood hotel that changed to a Ritz-Carlton about 3 yrs ago. This is a nice hotel but not up to the Ritz standards. Where this fell short for me was a dropped spa appointment (they later made it right), a spa without jacuzzi, steam and sauna as well as without combs, hair... More

The Ritz in Fort Lauderdale holds up to its name. The rooms are very large and roomy, the service at the hotel was wonderful, the location is also excellent. The beach is across the street, but there is a cross over that can be used. The pool is located on the 7th floor and is a nice area. The location... More

First thing that strikes you is the location and design of the hotel. It is right on the beach in the heart of all the action and has been designed to look like a cruise ship?! We arrived by car and the valet staff were warm an welcoming and very helpful. This was true of all the staff during the... More

We went first class all the way and had a two bedroom suite on the 17th floor. Upon check-in to our suite, we were welcomed with a chilled bottle of wine, a plate of cheeses and crackers, and a beautiful floral arrangement. The suite was huge and very comfortable, and the balcony with access from all three rooms provided a... More
