Prepaid for a two bedroom suite room was not ready for 4 hours after check in time . When we did get our room it was in no way ready . Was going to stay a week stayed one night. Go to the Atlantic or ritz down the street at least they treat you with a little respect.
I am just back from few a days at W Fort Lauderdale. The room was nice, overlooked the beach and you could also see the intra-coastal waterway from the balcony. The shower was in the middle of the room! clear glass all around, very chic but not a room for famlies or friends you don't want to see fully naked!...

This is a nice W with great service. From the Acura service to the bartender to the front desk, everyone was nice. I booked a regular room, but it wasn't ready when I arrived. The front desk gave me free drink vouchers. After waiting for an hour, the front desk booked me in the first available room. The room turned...

I have to say I was very pleased with my stay at the W. We were supposed to be in Cancun at Le Blanc but due to a large unexpected vet bill we decided we still needed a beach and sun so went to Ft. Lauderdale instead. I was hesitant and it took me forever to actually push the button...

This is my second and most definitely not my last time staying at this W. Stayed with a few friends end of April/beginning of May and could not have been more pleased with everything, AGAIN! Booked a Fantastic Suite for my stay and that is EXACTLY what I got on the 20th floor no less. The room was extra spacious...

We arrived late at night, since it was Spring Break, and were expecting it to be busy with partying school kids. First impression was bad - the lobby was crowded with drunk people and the reception desk had empty glasses on it. Our next...

I stay at Ft. Lauderdale hotels regularly as a short drive getaway from Naples, Fla. where I live. The Ritz Carlton, Marriott Harbour Beach, and Lago Mar are three of my favorites there.
Despite 2 previous stays at the W where I was less than impressed, I chose to return there for the Air/Sea show weekend in late April due...

Had to book last minute travel plans and the W was part of the package I found through Jet Blue vacations which by the way was cheaper than orbitz, Priceline etc.
Hotel is right on A1A across from the beach . The check your car to check in desk to room was a bit awkward with car attendant vying for...

The rooms were really nice, the workers were top notch... my only complaint was the food. The restaurants had a very limited menu and the food was not that great.
