If you are just looking for a place to crash while you hit the beach, it's fine. But the place hasn't been renovated for a long time, so everything is pretty dinghy.

“Terrific location with updated rooms.”

I have travelled to Ft. Lauderdale many times. I mostly stay at this hotel for price value and location. I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms were updated. My king bed had a platform bed and leather headboard. Bathroom was clean. Staff was excellent and friendly. I highly recommend this place for singles and families.

Their description is partly accurate. The beach is in walking distance IF you are a regular walker. It's nearly a mile. We arrived early and couldn't check in until check in time. the room was big and it had a decent tv. Breakfast was cereal, muffins, and toast. There was a waffle maker but it didn't work.
