Stayed at the Palms when in town for a family gathering and was really impressed. The rooms have been recently renovated. Dark wood furniture with an LCD/Plasma/LED (one of those types) TV's hanging on the wall, brand new mini fridge, new beds, tile throughout and free WiFi. Room and building were fresh and clean. Had to be in town w/kids for a meeting. Stayed 2 nights w/2 rooms. Nothing to write home about, but rooms were decent, TV worked and was inexpensive. But there are NO other hotels in Hobe Sound and interestingly, you cannot book this hotel through any of the big sites (Travelocity etc..) - need to just call them direct.
