My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights while on a scuba diving trip. The Beach Cottage where we stayed was nice and clean (my only real requirement) and the size was ideal for our needs. The A/C kept up nicely with the FL humidity and all necessary appliances (coffee pot, toaster, microwave) were provided. The office manager was...

Took my family of 7 to The Keys. I was really excited to find one room/suite that was big enough for all of us. Sleeping arrangements were not quite ideal based on the ages and sexes of my kids Would have been better suited for 6 or less. Complimentary use of in house kayaks/canoes was an unexpected bonus. But there...

We got to our cottage early and it was clean & ready for us. Stayed in Cottage #1 and the street noise did not bother us. The view of the sunset was fantastic!! Better than Mallory Point in Key West, hands down. If you are looking for a quaint place, this is it. If you want the Marriot or Hyatt,...

Didn't start out as planned. Arrived 1 hour after check-in time and room wasn't ready for yet another hour. For delay was offered daily maid service (nice jester, but really didn't need it). Variety of lodging options, but would recommend "Paradise". Beach area was ok (keys not noted for their beaches). Did take advantage of canoes/kayaks. Sunsets were beautiful. Office...

We chose to stay at Sunset Cove Beach Resort because suite #7 had a full kitchen and a king size bed plus a pull out sleeper. These are requirements we have when traveling and SCBR fit the budget. The pros:

When we first pulled in, we considered not even checking in because it looked questionable. We ended up in a cabin room close to the road. It was pretty clean and simple but outdated. It had a small kitchen with stove and refrigerator so it was nice for simple meals. It had a small TV, a table, a queen size...

My wife and I have stayed here over the years and unfortunately have seen it change in some not so nice ways and will probably not be back.
First, the good: The vegetation, lizards, birds, and view of the sunset on the bay are great. Coffee, juice, fruit, and packaged pastries in the morning are a nice touch. Some of...

My son and I just spent the most wonderful time at Sunset Cove....I have paid up to 500.00 night and had much less enjoyment in other resorts. The whole flavor of the resort is low key, fun and very interesting. We met people from all over the world. As sunset approached the visitors would make a pilgrimage to the beach...

Keep your expectations down and you will be fine here. Its not fancy just basic. We stayed in the RV Trailer "Sea Breeze". Private , smaller than looks online. Not very new, but not run down either. Kitchenette is very minimally equipped. The "breakfast" is packaged donuts and pastries and oranges/apples. A/C worked well. The bar nearby had loud music...
