4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 May 2013 NEW

Stayed here for 5 nights on a trip to Key West. This was our second trip, and we were keen this time to stay closer to Duval and in this sense the Curry House absolutely delivered, the location was perfect, close enough to the action, but far away enough to still be peaceful. We stayed in Room One which was... More

Lois runs the B&B and is a great host. Each morning breakfast was special and delicious. Our room was fantastic overlooking the pool area from a porch on the 2nd floor. Open and breezy. The location is great, central to Old Key West with restaurants, Duval St and plenty of interesting places within walking or biking distance. No cars needed... More

Well located but not much else. The room was awful but was an attic. If you over 5ft then don't attempt staying in these rooms. It didn't seem well kept. Holes in the walls. Shower rail and fittings loose on walls.

We stayed there one night in april on our short trip to Key West. The room we had booked was being worked on so we had an upgrade to a bigger room! Lois was really helpful giving us tips about restaurants and things to see in town. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order! We also used the pool... More

Room 6 No bathroom fan - mold on the ceiling attests to its need. Temperamental hot water - avoid taking a bath when everyone else is trying to do the same. Rug was old and needed to be replaced. Some of the linens were threadbare. No conventional pillows - just hard bolsters- impossible to use if you're used to a... More

Entrance could have been more appealing , landscaping needs work, a few pots of nice flowers would really help the appearance and some clean up. The carpet walking in needed to be vacuumed and the mosquitos were bad! There should be more of a variety to choose from for breakfast, like cereal and fruit or pastries not everyone wants a... More

We stayed here with 2 other couples...convenient location- 2 blocks to seaport/ 3 blocks to Duval. Loved our room #8, balcony, historic KW pine paneling complete with creaking floors. Friendly staff, with fantastic cooked to order breakfast daily around the pool. Bathrooms are small, as to be expected with converted historic homes. Great neighborhood in the heart of old Key... Excellent! We stayed in late Feb when about 4 rooms were occupied. We were able to park in front of the house each night. The hostess (I've forgotten her name) was courteous, helpful and friendly. The house is older and the upgrades made (shower, pool, kitchen for example) stand out, but are welcome. Floors creaked a little and some furnishings... More

We had a good time at the Curry House. We met some nice people, enjoyed the pool area and the breakfast and drinks but something needs to be done with room #9. This is the room in the attic and even though the photos on the website depict the slanted ceiling there are a few things left out. The shower... More

What this reviewer isn't telling you, is that before he booked he had pushed very hard for, and had been given a nice discount on Room 9. After he arrived and expressed h is displeasure with the room, we offered him a larger room without the slanted ceiling, also at a sizeable discount. He chose to stay in room 9,... More

Even when you read dozens and dozens of reviews on TA you still never know for sure what you are going to find when you book a new place to stay. From the moment my wife and I arrived at Curry House (dropped off at the corner, a mini-walk away from the B&B) we were treated like family. Lois couldn't... More
