We just left The Palms after a week stay. We had many friends and family staying there for my sisters wedding. The friends and family who are more comfortable with a traditional hotel experience stayed at one of the larger chain hotels, but those of us who like quaint and character stayed here and were very happy. We stayed with... More

My husband and I stayed at the Palms 2 nights. The hotel is adorable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We had no problem parking our rental behind the hotel on the morning we checked in, but did notice the lot to fill up and stay full for the remainder of our stay. We had no trouble... More

Very quaint place and historical. Original bldg is from the 1800. Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean. The only disappointment was the breakfast. Not far from downtown but just enough that it's not noisy at night. I'd stay there again.

Centrally located in Key West if you don't mind walking 10 - 30 mins, which we don't. We were easily able to explore the whole southwestern end of the island from the Atlantic to historic seaport, and had a quiet, relaxing spot to retreat to. Our only suggestion would be to make the exterior spaces non-smoking as well as the... More

Headed to Key West with my husband and some friends for a long weekend get-a-way... Stayed at the Palms Hotel. The hotel grounds are very pretty and well maintained. The rooms are kept clean and smell good but are very small especially the bathrooms. The hotel is pretty close to a lot of things but still a good distance for... More

I enjoyed this hotel. The furniture and room were clean, but older. There was an issue with a water leak in the bathroom ceiling. They were planning on fixing it after we checked out. I would have preferred that they had move us, but this wasn't the case. The room was pretty well insulated, sound from adjacent rooms was very... More

Stayed at The Palms 3/10 - 3/13/12, good stop, nice clean room, good staff, the fellow working the breakfast buffet did a nice job. Going back to Key West for Fantasy Fest and made reservations to go back to The Palms.

We pre-booked this place sight unseen (on-line photos only) and went in with what I believe were realistic expectations. Those were, accomodations in KW are pricey and due to the fact that they have a relatively captive clientel once there, they don't need to overdo it on the service end of things. The room, which we were told we got... More

We were looking for a hotel with a pool that was pet friendly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was minimal, but free. We didn't move the car. Walked everywhere. Dog needed to be crated if we weren't in room. Other guests were from all over, interesting chats. Pool was clean. Overall quiet Would stay here again

To start things off, my husband and I are in our mid-30's, left the kids at home for a fun week in Key West. We like to have fun, we do drink, but we are not really the "Nascar" crowd, nor are we the Power Boat crowd (which look about the same to me). We came during "Power Boat Week"... More

Yes, there are definitely times not just on our property, but in Key West in general where noise and a general adult atmosphere will be found. I would absolutely suggest to any guest that is specifically looking for peace and quiet or a non-partying atmosphere to do some research. Check to make sure a special event is not occurring as...
