My family and I discoveded the hard way this place was infested with bedbugs. Small brown tick-looking insects that feast on blood while you sleep. I am so glad I caught them at 3am last night and was able to get my family out of there. Management was less than concerned so enter at your own risk.

We were pleasantly surprised with the Beachcomber. Clean, quiet and pet-friendly. Close to town, and the owner gave us restaurant recommendations that were all great. There is a long sand alley perfect for walking your dog and the dog-friendly beach a few miles away is a true gem.

Owner very friendly and accomodating. The place was clean and large, beds were comfortable. Great location for access to the beach. This is definitely how the beach used to be and old style Florida. If you want low key, value, and don't mind not having all the amenities of a 1st class hotel, then this is the place for you.

If you are looking for the RITZ, HILTON, or Bright LIghts, this is not your place to stay.
