We bought into the DVC. Bay lake is our home resort. It's amazing. So new, great view, so close to the magic kingdom. The view from any point of this hotel is awesome. Can't wait for our next visit.

If you plan on going to sleep at 10 and are a light sleeper, forget about it. At 10 PM, the Magic Kingdom fireworks go off. At 10:15, Illuminations music comes on at Bay Lake. And believe it or not, the young children are still active even after a long day. Most annoying was the noise from the monorail that... More

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with the full kitchen, lakeview room. We had 5 people + a baby. We were on the 5th floor. Beautiful view! Close walk to the Magic Kingdom. Easy access to the Contemporary via covered walkway or short outside walk. I was concerned that we would be second class citizens to the Contemporary, but... More

We just got back from a week at the Bay Lake Tower - four of us - me, my girlfriend (who turned 40 on this trip), her 16 year son, and her best friend. I needed a suite that would sleep four so I wouldn't have to get two rooms. The Bay Lake Tower has one- or two-bedroom suites (villas)... More

This is a great place to stay as either DVC or as a visitor to Disney. As DVC members, we have stayed at this property multiple times (it is our home resort). The building is secured and has limited access so no one is wandering the halls and they are often very quiet. I think a lot of people get... More

Because it is an offshoot of the Contemporary, it is very difficult to get a luggage cart when you check in, and there are none in the lobby for personal use. This was very frustrating for us at the time. A bellhop with two empty carts returning to the contemporary refused to help my luggage burdened wife when she pleaded... More

This is the second time staying at the Bay Lake Tower and we loved it again. We are DVC members, both times we have chosen to stay at our home resort, as we just love being close to the Magic Kingdom and we like the more modern feel. There was three adults and one two year old on our vacation,... More

We stayed at the Bay Lake last July as DVC members. We had a one bedroom lake view. It's a great, modern hotel in the best possible location for the Magic Kingdom - a two minute walk from the front gate. You also have swift access to the monorail at the contemporary resort without having to go outdoors, via the... More

We stayed in a 1 bedroom standard view suite for 6 nights in May 2012. This was our first stay as DVC owners. We could not have been happier with the resort. The convenience to Magic Kingdom, the Contemporary, and the monorail was so nice. The condition and cleanliness of the resort and room were great. The kids absolutely loved... More

My husband and I recently became Disney Vacation Club members. We have stayed at many Walt Disney World resorts over the past several years, and have our favorites in each price category (Polynesian for deluxe, Caribbean Beach for moderate, and Pop Century for value). This was our first trip staying as vacation club members. We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge-Kidani... More
