“Good location”

The price is right, stayed for $79. a night on weekend. The room was clean and neat. The service was very nice. The only thing was people talking outside our room at almost mid night. It seems the walls are a little thin as we could hear talking next door.

The room smelled musty & moldy. No smoking room but cigarette smoke was coming through bathroom vent from other room I suppose. We stayed on a Friday night and found that they had changed their name. The new owners took over last September and have not gotten very far in the renovation department, although the weekend prices jumped $20 bucks compared to last fall's cost. This hotel is in pre-renovation so the price of $59.00 p/night was a great find in St Augustine. It is just a 5 minute walk to the gates of the city. The hotel is very clean and so is the pool. “it isn't a Ramada anymore”

upon arriving the first thing I noticed is a name change to San Marco and not Ramada. There are signs everywhere staying under new management. the room was ok. it is a good location. like the old city, this is an old building. the nightly rate is good for what you get. but it is no luxury hotel.

“Ok for the price.....”

Our normal Bed & Breakfast was booked for 1 of the nights we were wanting to visit, so we booked here. The price was very inexpensive and you definately get what you pay for. The location was good as you could walk to just about everything, and it was clean, just dated. Hopefully the renovations will update the place.

“It's just a crawl to all the night life.”

This Motel is not very fancy nor is it updated. However, the location is great! Eight Blocks from Downtown and the Fort. Also the price was perfect. Just don't expect any frills. Perfect place to sleep of a night of "out on the town" craziness.

This hotel offers the best rates in town and at the end of July we will begin our complete renovation as a new Doubletree hotel. This property offers a great value and it is very clean. So please hurry before renovation at the end of July. Thanks for sharing your review. More

“Good for the money!”

Clean and safe. A short walk down to St. George Street and all the attractions. We went with our two young children and were very pleased. It is not a resort, or anything close to a five star hotel, but it was not bad either. The restaurant down stares is really good and convenient. I would stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your stay. You said it exactly right it is a great place for the money and it offers a clean room, great location. This will be closed at the end of July for a full renovation and will become a Doubletree Hotel so enjoy the great rates while they last. More

“Old Ramadan hotel under new flag”

An old Ramada hotel under new management, service is limited and they advertise a low price due to renovations. We paid 60 dollars incl tax for a weekend night..best value in town but no extra services like breakfast. Location is about a 5min walk from the historic centre

You are absolutely right. We offer a great location, rate and clean room. Come and get em while they last and you will have a lot of extra money to spend on other attractions. Thank you for your kind response. More
