The Holiday Inn at Lido Beach Sarasota was the best. Easy access to the beach with all you need for a great time at the beach. The view was wonderful for Sunsets, the Gulf and people watching.

this hotel had everything i needed. clean rooms, roomservice, easy access to beach. my room was large and had a refrigerator. hotel was quiet at night.

The hotel could benefit from a makeover but the friendly and efficient staff made up for the shortfall. If you don't like the beach then the pool is a great place to relax in the morning, busier in the afternoon and at weekends. Can't fault the location but you MUST book a room with an ocean view.

Wife and I stayed here last night 5/2/2012. Very convenient, wak to beach across the street. Short walk to St. Armans circle Rooms are small and crowded. We had the city view, would recommend paying more for the Gulf view next time.
