Overpriced rooms; no operating restaurant incl. breakfast. No alternative offered i.e. coffee or so. Helpless boy at the reception with manager disappeared and not reachable. Comes worse - all to be find out by myself with no proactive communication. Cleary a hotel to avoid!

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed there for one night and was very happy. I used my diamond reward points so that was a plus. We stayed on the 13th floor with a great view of the Capitol. The hotel has a gothic feel and it is beautiful. Rooms are modern and beds comfortable. We got a $15 credit for dining and went into Jacobs restaurant for breakfast. They had a nice buffet for $20 but I went for the standard breakfast for $15 and it was a huge portion. We walked to Proof brewery from the hotel. I wish we would of visited the roof top bar but maybe in our next stay. Highly recommend. Friendly staff too!

Hotel is not well kept, the shower has mold, the bathroom door is peeling and there is an odd sickly smell in the room, hotel restaurant on 17th floor is ok but pricy, don’t get the duck the breast is well cooked but the skin not well rendered. I am disappointed as I normally stay at the ac Hilton which was fully booked not a good experience.

Dom is the best valet! Thanks for being so on top of it. We had a great time at Eve on Adams. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay in Tallahassee for a hotel or for a nice bite to eat. Best views in Tallahassee of Dow town at the rooftop bar! We will be back

Worst Doubletree we’ve ever stayed at. We have stayed here multiple times but it’s been a few years. In the intervening time it has cratered. Front Desk was rude and unhelpful at check in. The room had not been cleaned with dirty wash clothes and used soap bars still in the room and debris on the floor. When we complained the desk clerk said she would bring it up with housekeeping, yet the room was never cleaned. The ice machine was broken and looked like it had not worked for some time. The pool furniture was worn and torn, The TV did not work. And we didn’t even get the signature warm cookie, The Starbucks in the lobby no longer is open, leaving a vacant hole. The entire property is old and crying out for a refresh. The Manager’s only response to all this was to express regret, while tacitly acknowledging how woefully inadequate the hotel is. I feel sorry for them having to try to put lipstick on this pig. As a Hilton Honors member, I like and favor Hilton products. This one makes me question that loyalty.

Located near the Capitol and FSU. Room was tired. Worn furniture and dim lights. Peeling paint in bathroom. Get as far from elevators as you can; they're noisy. Bizarre 1970s Las Vegas phony baroque decor. Three tries to get adequate towels. Not a good value for money. Not many eateries or coffee joints nearby. We did not eat or park at hotel. On the positive side, room was clean and beds were comfy.

Greg in valet was excellent and went above and beyond his duties tonight. He was the valet on duty on this very chilly night tonight. He was done with his duties and assisted us in the absence of a bellman. He understood what creates the wow factor. Thank you again Greg

Stayed at this property for two nights. The hotel itself could use an update, but overall that aspect was fine. What I could not believe was that the hotel now operates a night club on the 16th floor from 10pm-2am and there is no separate elevator for the night club patrons, so they must go through the hotel and use the hotel elevators to get to the 16th floor. At the 16th floor, they then switch to another elevator to get to the club. When the club attendees started leaving the club around 1am, they filled the hallways of the various floors because they did not want to wait on the 16th floor for the elevator, so they began using the stairs and infiltrating the rest of the hotel to use the elevators on the other floors. Therefore, from about 1am to 2:30am it felt like my bed was plopped down in the middle of a nightclub. The noise was horrendous, the drunkenness outside the door of my hotel room was obscene and I was not on the 16th floor, they had used the stairs to come down to use the elevators on the floor that I was on. Not only did it disturb hours of sleep, but was completely unsafe. None of these club patrons were actually staying at the hotel, it is a public nightclub that must be accessed through the portion of the hotel that guests stay in and because there is not a private elevator for them from the ground level, these hundreds of 20somethings roam the halls drunk and obnoxious at all hours of the night until they finally make their way to the lobby and out the front door. The club only operates on the weekends, so staying at this hotel Monday through Thursday would probably be fine, but I would avoid it at all costs on the weekend. I really wish I had known this in advance, I never would have booked a weekend here. I did have friends that stayed on the 16th floor and they faired much worse than I did because it was constant noise all night from when the club opened until about 2:30am. So just be aware that the noise level on the weekends was so intense, that even as a heavy sleeper, I was woken up and unable to go back to bed until the last of them worked their way down from the club.

Possibly fastest service we’ve had in a while. Greg and Ty were running cars everywhere with no wait times. My last hotel stay took 2 hours to leave because of valet delays, so I’ve become appreciative when it’s done correctly. The hotel location is great.
