The hotel itself is vet nice at the edge of Ybor city. Good for business or adult travel. I would not call this a kid friendly section of town. Very close to convention center which is great.

Hampton Inn, Ybor City is a good, reasonably priced hotel. The rooms were clean, the service was friendly. Room included full breakfast everyday which - while not gourmet, was quite good, and much better than the continental fare. They also had a free shuttle service to take you into downtown.
