We had such a great time at this resort. The staff, especially Missy at the front desk, were all so accomodating and pleasant. Pool was very clean and the Tiki Hut was especially nice with Live Music in the evening ! Would definately stay again!

Just finished a four night stay. We stayed in a gulf front efficiency, with an adjoining room. The fridge in the very old kitchen was dorm size, disappointing, barely keeping things cold, the freezer section had two inches of frost. The kitchen certainly needs upadting...plywood doors??? We stayed here this april. pleasantly surprised. rooms are very clean. bathrooms need remodeling, for sure. staff very pleasant and helpful. on easter sunday, the whole staff got together and had an easter egg hunt for the children. how great is that!!. music every night by the tiki bar right by the ocean. soo relaxing. loved it and will go... Just got back from a 4 night stay. We got a great value paying for our room in advance (on-line at hotel website) also traveling lower season. We stayed in the Gulf Front Efficiency with a kitchenette. NIce view & nice having the private balcony. I thought the Gulf Front rooms were quieter also - no pool noise & less... More

The Thunderbird has a nice set up. Right on the beach, a Tiki Hut for drinks, a one-man band for some live entertainment and a nicely manicured courtyard. Most rooms open to the courtyard which has a great pool area. I liked the smaller motel feel. Most of the resort is only two stories and all have a private entrance.... More

This was an extremely inviting, clean, fun vacation spot. Staff were helpful and made it feel like home for us.
