Best hospitality, best breakfast, and best price! It's a very comfortable home away from home, with lots of parking for your car, and in a good location, within walking distance of excellent restaurants and entertainment, and not very far from Venice beaches and a great bike path.

Great place. Clean, quite, comfortable, with great food. Staff is very pleasant. Walking distance to very nice little downtown. Good resturants in town as well.Breakfast area is nice and coffee is on early

We really loved this Inn. Beautifully furnished rooms (ours was one of the two upstairs rooms), and kept immaculately clean. Excellently located B & B for the centre of Venice. Very quiet location, a five minute walk from the main street of Venice. The Inn Keepers, Lois and Jon, were wonderful hosts, unfortunately breakfast timing was a little short. 8:15 to 9:00. and there was no choice apart from fruit juice (3) the rest was as given.

Our hostess, Lois, owned the hotel with her husband and she could not have been nicer or more helpful about the attractions in Venice. I would give the Horse and Chaise 5+ stars based solely on hospitality, but insignificant flaws prevent granting a top rating. I am very eager for a return visit. Lois the Innkeeper exceeding expectations time after time makes this place exceptional.
