My husband and I enjoyed our weekend get away. The rooms were spacious and had great views of the lake. A very pretty place. We stay there again in the future.
Very nice property. Gorgeous lake views. Lots of outdoor seating and more than adequate quality food in the restaurant. The service was very good in the rooms and in the conference center.
I stayed in a villa. Not sure why it's called that because it was a hotel room. Don't you at least need a microwave to be a villa?...

Spent two nights here with a conference, loved the view and the grounds. Pretty secluded with lots of walking places. Room are a little dated but clean and bright. Wireless Internet was pretty unusable for me, used cable to connect. I will consider stopping here again.
Stayed one night at resort which is 10 minutes from I-75. Beautiful lake front acomodations which are totally dog friendly (no fee for first dog). Even ate breakfast on veranda with our dog. Only drawback is noies from Friday/Saturday night outdoor concerts. Food is terrific.
A good place especially for meetings! The lake is beautiful! Romm are adequate with screened porches (for bug free sundowns). Pleanty of recreation, gold, boating, swimming, golf, bike riding and walking trails.
Do not forget to stop at the country store at the main gate ---- wonderful steaks to grill while ate the resort. They have the best Desk Attendants...

We added a night to our Living Social deal and are so glad we did! Though most reviews we'd read were positive, everything about the resort was more than we expected. Our room was large, well laid-out, comfortable and spotless. Every staff member we encountered was, without exception, friendly and professional. Cordelia's had wonderful service and great food. We throughly...

My wife and I stayed overnight at the resort. Overall good service and room was satisfactory. Dinner at the resort restaurant was great. Only drawback was the noise from the nearby bar but we will know next time to ask for a room not so close to the bar.
Upon our arrival we quickly noticed the brochure was correct. As we made our way to the villa registration, we noticed deer on the RC flying field, geese in the lake, visitors fishing, and many other relaxing activities.
We enjoyed our private screen porch and view of the lake. We felt at home.

We stayed onsite 2 days, and throughly enjoyed the entire resort. Obviously needed to school the telephone staff on how to locate the property, but once there the staff that we came into contact with were more than accomadating. The young lady at the golf shop gave us lots of local tips on where to find unique items exclusive to...

Lake Blackshear is a beautiful lake and the resort is well appointed. We stayed in a villa, which was equipped with two computer desks with internet hookup. As my husband and I like to be on the internet a good bit, this was very welcomed. We actually were able to connect to their wifi and didn't need to use the...
