My husband and I stayed at the Washington Plantation. It is a beautiful place with wonderful hosts. We enjoyed the wine and cheese offered in the afternoon and a gourmet breakfast the next morning. The house is gorgeous -- there could have been some updates, sure, but it was over all a great experience!

Tom and Barb set us up for another perfect weekend. We rented the whole house for the 4th time and had a blast. The rooms, the southern elegance sand the friendly attitude of the host and staff were awesome. We will be back. Thanks Sherman, for bypassing Washington and leaving this glorious place just like it was centuries ago.

We are from the Atlanta area and needed a brief "getaway". Visited the museum and Toombs home on our own. Then checked in to Washington Plantation B&B. Enjoyed wine and cheese and conversation with Tom and Barbara lage afternoon. Breakfast was excellent.
