Immediately upon entering the room, it reeked of cigarette smoke. That wasn't too much to tolerate, but the rest of the room was unclean. The housekeeping staff seems to do their job well, but some things need to be replaced rather than cleaned. Our lamp shade, for example, was *filthy*. This Shilo Inn is in a great location for us pet owners who travel a lot. The only positive I can say about this place was it hada decent location. Central to everything we wanted to do in Boise and right on the green belt path. Otherwise, scary rooms, one friendly staff member and one not so friendly, and lots of unsavory people staying there. Would not recommend it.

We stayed here 3 nights for a family visit. This is a very nice facility with modern rooms, good beds, frig and microwave, lovely indoor pool and hot tub, exercise room, sauna and steamroom too! We've stayed here several times and we keep going back when we stay in Boise. Finding a place that is clean & reasonable is a good place to start, but quiet and comfortable aren't far behind. we had the chance to stay here recently and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was amazing and very attentive. We particularly appreciated the morning staff who prepared our breakfast. Very kind and helpful.
