I was a tad worried after reading some reviews about rude management and I have to say, I had a wonderful experience. I asked when I got there about the reviews and they said they had issues with the last managers they had. I loved these wonderful people who were so very gracious and kind and helpful to us, They... You can't go wrong staying here. The King size bed was very comfortable. The room included a nice refrigerator( with separate freezer), microwave and coffee maker. Staying here you are close to downtown McCall and within walking distance to several restaurants. The motel is set up on a hill off the main road and is very quiet. We stayed 4... More

When my family travels I like NICE and my husband likes CHEAP! Usually we end up at opposite ends, but at The Scandia Inn it was a WIN WIN! Room was exceptionally clean without the overwhelming odor of Pine Sol or other cleaning agents. The beds were very comfy (although a little plumper pillow would be nice). Very quiet .... More

A nice, small Mom & Pop motel. We had the moose room, filled with moose decorations including a stuffed moose on the bed. The room included a fridge, microwave, and a full-sized coffee maker. Wireless was not available, but the owner provided us with a cord for a fast wired connection at no additional charge. The curtains made the room... More

I love this motel. It's always very clean, quiet, comfortable and affordable. Each room has it's own theme; Deer, Elk, Moose & Bear. It has a cabin feel atmosphere. The managers are quite pleasant; always knowledgable and helpful, as well as being friendly and hospitable. I've traveled through McCall on a frequent basis for work and pleasure over the past... Scandia Inn is so incredibly cheap. The room had a nice, cabin-esque feel to it, and we stayed with the purpose of going skiing, so the mood was right. The first night was cold, but once the room heated up it was everything we needed. Service was friendly. The location is good, close to downtown restaurants, shops, and bars. We... More

I've never seen a cleaner bathroom! Nothing fancy, but this hotel is clean, inexpensive, and quiet. The location is great--just at the south end of town, so you can park your car and walk almost everywhere. We found the staff very accommodating, too. We needed an early check-in time, and they were happy to do this for us. I would... More

Never having made the trip, we didn't realize how long it would take to drive from Boise to McCall (about 100 miles along a beautiful winding river route), so we decided to stay overnight in McCall rather than drive back home to the Boise area all in the same day. We checked out several places and found this was the... More

We enjoyed our stay at The Scandia Inn. This hotel had everything we needed for our stay, and the price was great. Hotel management was very polite and helpful.

We had reservations at Scandia Inn. Upon arrival, we looked at the room to see if it would be suitable for a physically-challenged family member. (We already knew the rooms were not handicapped accessible.) We found the room would not be suitable. We talked with Keith (owner). He was extremely rude--the rudest person we have ever met. He was rude... More

This kind of review is common when someone does not agree with our policies. We are only the managers of this motel, not the owners. The reservation was made by one of his relatives who has stayed here before and was fully aware of our policies. The relative that came in also knew we were not handicap accessible. He came... More
