This Resort is located on the west shore of Priest Lake in a beautiful setting. The room we had was 'decidedly' dated & could certainly do with an update. Keeping in mind that the property promotes itself as rustic, one shouldn't have great expectations when it comes to the accommodation. We stayed at the 'low end' of the price scale... More

We stayed at a friend's cabin nears Hill's Resort. We had breakfast and dinner there many times and the staff was so much fun. The beach is open to the public, we rented a canoe, played on great sand beaches. We plan on having our family reunion there next year if there is a cabin available. Can't wait.

Hill,s Resort goes one step further and doesn't give you a bucket to put the ice in once you by it. They also give you no shampoo or hair dryer. This place is pretty old and trying to make it by with little maintenance. It would have been nice to have a chair to sit on other than the 2... More

First off, if you have never been to Priest Lake in northern Idaho, put it on your bucket list. This place is just GORGEOUS!! The bluest blue sky, the greenest green forests, and an absolutely pristine and beautiful lake awaits. We are native northwesterners, and I can say that this place is one of the most gorgeous places in the... More

Our family has been spending one week a year here for nearly all of the past 40 years. It is something we all look forward to each summer, and even several winters for a little snowmobile retreat! Outstanding service, great restaurant and lounge. Location is amazing.

Late this last summer while in Sandpoint, Idaho it was recommended that we "must have the Huckleberry pancakes at Hills Resort on Priest Lake. Ours was a special adventure as a friend owns a float plane and flew us up to Hill's. We landed on the water and taxied right up to the beach in front of Hill's Resort. An... More

Spent a week end at this resort for a getaway with the "girls". We drove to it in a snowstorm. They had the snow cleared and stacks of wood outside for the wood fireplace. We stayed in one of their cabins with three bedrooms. The place could have slept 10 of us. Clean, warm and well stocked to spend longer... More

Hills Resort is celebrating its 65th year this summer (2011). It is a rustic compound on federally leased land along west Priest Lake’s Luby Bay. The resort includes cabins, condos, a restaurant, bar, small store, and marina. It is most likely the nicest resort on the lake. I’ve been staying in one of two “on the lake” cabins for ten... More

A group of friends came in off the lake one evening to have a cocktail. We tied our boat up at the transient docs, and went up to the bar. Aside from being way too hot in there, we were served promptly. It was definitely too hot in there so we all decided to go have our cocktails on the... More

Pleasant staff appear to easily manage rustic style resort on Priest Lake. It feels oh so comfortable. Room with king bed was huge with a modest bathroom. Good food with lovely atmosphere overlooks the beautiful lake. Head to the shoreline and build a bonfire at dusk. Leave your laptop at home as there is no Wi-Fi, but don't forget that... More
