I would highly recommend this hotel. The service was great and the staff is one of the most guest focused staffs that I've ever experienced and I travel worldwide. Whatever your needs require they will take care of...it's clear to me that this hotel is professionally managed. The location is also very close to key destinations and Michigan Avenue.

The Chicago property is what you would expect. Clean, modern, well lit rooms. Wifi worked well. Getting to the lobby on the 12th floor was a cool surprise! It's a fine hotel, but feels like it was a holiday inn in a former life. The room is fine, but the room and bathroom is not what you would expect from a 5 start hotel. I would note that the service was great. It's in a good location, and if you get a deal it's worth statying.

The location of the Ritz-Carlton Chicago is really terrific, near great shopping and restaurants, it is perfect for vacation or business travel. The rooms at the hotel are very nicely appointed, but the rooms on some sides can be louder than others. When the wind was high my room would creak a bit, but not as bad as some others... More

Everything one would expect from an upscale, somewhat pricey, luxury property. Attentive and charming staff; comfortable rooms; nice amenities; pleasant views from lakeside rooms. Meeting space was good as well. Bar area served not only drinks but light food, coffee and decadent desserts. Lovely all around -- what you would expect from a hotel in this category.
