Superb location, nice decor/lobby/front desk staff, $89 a night room. What's not to like? My only complaint was that the internet in my room was very, very slow, which made work difficult. I did not try the free breakfast, unfortunately, so I can't comment there.

I have stayed at this hotel at least three or four times now, and I have never been disappointed. The hotel is modern, well maintained, and reasonably priced. I travel all over the country. Out of all of the hotels to stay in chicago, i choose the fairfield inn downtown. Why would you want to stay anywhere else? The location alone is amazing. The price is reasonable. Forget all of that,...you have clean retro style rooms with LG big tv's! Staff is over the top with their welcome...

This is the best hotel (in my opinion). Janet (the woman at the front desk), was really nice and helpful when it came to restaurants and directions. The rooms were awesome. They have TWO TV's in the King Suite. TWO!:) It was in a great spot right next to The Magnificent Mile. -Daughter

Convenient location. Decent neighborhood. View not very scenic from 10th flr room. No pool. No parking. Small bathroom. Clean. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Over the past 3 years, I stayed in Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers (301 east n. Water St.), Fairfield Inn (Ontario St) and the Inn of Chicago (Ohio St). For tourists, the Sheraton's location is inconvenient. Inn of Chicago's location is convenient just like the Fairfield Inn, both are very close to the Magnificient mile. Room rate was great! Got a queen room, very small... But that in itself was ok. It was the extras that killed it! Parking ($33 if self park, $42 if valet), tip the concierge, tip the valet... Blew out the budget! Great location just be aware of the other costs that's all.
