Well, I tried it once. I gave them a second chance. Regretted it ever since. Can't check into this hotel at check in time. Don't get me started on how rudely we were treated one night when we were blamed for the party next door. Both times we waited WELL past check in time for our room. Unconscionable.

w lakeshore is in an excellent location...a little off the beaten path. the restaurant is very good, with excellent service. the rooms are pretty basic, but we only used the rooms for sleeping as we were exploring the city at all other times. the pool is really great as it looks out over lsd to the lake and navy pier.... Take a quality hotel and spice it up with fun - cooler decor and quirky things like a telescope at the elevator landing and all of a sudden you are well rested and pleasantly surprised. Gym is adequate/good. Restaurant was very good food ( a bit pricey).
