The House of Two Urns was my wife and I's first B&B experience. We stayed in the King room which included our own private bath with a common kitchen area. The staff was very courteous and welcoming. The location of Two Urns was fantastic. It was within walking distance of several restaurants, bars and shops in the wicker park area.... More

I stayed here while in Chicago for an event at the United Center. It was perfect for my friend and I. Our room was small but comfortable and I loved the extra touches like the robes and extra pillows! Breakfast was very good, and the decor was great! Kapra was very helpful. I am surprised that her hospitality has been... More

The House of Two Urns is in an excellent location. Its on the edge of hip Wicker Park and very close to the Loop. The common areas are attractive, immaculate with interesting antiques and artwork. Breakfast was delicious. The Porzellanzimmer was small but adequate for two and very quiet. I loved my private bathroom which was nicely done up. I... More

I've stayed three separate times at the House of Two Urns over the last couple years. Each time the property and service have been high quality. The common areas are very attractive and immaculate with tasteful antiques and artwork. The breakfast is always satisfying and delicious. The house is so quiet that it's easy to forget that there are other... More

I stayed at the House of Two Urns from 14th to 20th May, and I stayed in Alice's Bedroom. I was visiting for a conference, but also had time for a short holiday too. From my initial reservation to my departure I was very impressed with the B&B and Kapra and Lauren were exceedingly pleasant in helping me with any... More

I recently stayed at this B&B with my girlfriend to celebrate my birthday. I cannot speak highly enough of the beautifully appointed and immaculately clean premises- both the main building as well as the annexed building. You literally have everything in your room that you might need, from spare toothbrushes to bath gels to extra towels to a blowdryer to... More

Super clean, attractively designed and very comfortable, the House of Two Urns has an artistic vibe and a delicious breakfast. We loved our room. The hosts do a great job of making you feel at home. Their supporting material for enjoying Chicago is the best I have seen. They have guides to stores, services and restaurants in walking distance -... More

We stayed here to be near our daughter that lives in wicker park. There are few alternatives to the big hotels and this suited our needs to a tee. Delicious breakfasts and clean rooms were especially notable. We will definitely stay here when visiting Chicago in the future!

Just returned from a week in Chicago seeing all the sites. We feel like we really lucked out with this place - found online. The House of Two Urns is special. The location is wonderful, quiet, residential but short walk to bus and train - that will take you anywhere easily. The rooms are lovely and very clean, nice towels,... More

We stayed two nights in the Alcova room. Our room was clean and spacious. The house is pleasantly decorated with art and antiques. The breakfast was good both days. It is conveniently located to the blue line train, shops, and restaurants. Our hostess was accommodating but not very friendly which made our group feel unwelcome.

I wear a lot of hats at the inn, but I do not force myself on guests - so when guests know where they are headed and don't need help or ask questions, I let them enjoy their breakfast. I willingly make suggestions on things to do or help guests figure out what order to efficiently accomplish their "to see"... More
