By Chicago standards it's close enough to walk to the stadium or to the shore -- but cabs are easy to catch if you're not enthused about that much exercise. In the heart of Boystown/Lakeview, everything you could want is within walking distance. Walk out the front door and walk down Hawthorne Place one block and you can hop on a bus to downtown Chicago on North Lakeshore Drive. My Brothers and I went to catch a Reds / Cubs game at Wrigley and we stayed here. The rooms were great, the location was perfect, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay there again
