We stayed in Chicago at this hotel for only one night through Priceline for only $95 a night. It was a steal considering the location and the beautifully appointed rooms. The decor of this hotel is now one of my top favorite that I have stayed at in the world. I loved the old world charm meets modern contemporary flare... More

The hotel was not as nice as expected for the money, but the room was a decent size and clean. However, the room service was TERRIBLE, dinner took over an hour and the chocolate chip cookies were not warm or chocolate chip as i was told, my meal was also cold and missing 2 items, the guy went back for... Old style MichiganAve hotel. Historic old building nicely renovated. Great value for money and a wonderful place to use as a base for a weekend in town. Rooms are really nicely updated and good size. Breakfast service needs some attention !

I like to stay in grand old hotels, and this has a lot to recommend it. However, our first introduction to the hotel was being told parking for the night would be $55, which really seemed outrageous (I think I've had hotel rooms that cost less than this!). Rooms were nice, but ours had a large bump-out structure in the... More

I've stayed at some trendy hotels (Hudson Hotel, NYC; The James Hotel, Chicago, etc.) but rarely have they also been relaxing and comfortable as well. The Blackstone is all that. The first thing I noticed when I got to my room was there was a tv in the mirror in the bathroom. How baller is that? I also noticed that... More

We checked in late. I asked for a room facing the Michigan Ave and the front person told me they are all booked and he is gonna give me a side room and since 'the buildings around are not as tall you can see around.' Go into the room on the 10th floor and the window opens to a massive... More

My husband and I were on a conference/ r&r trip, so this hotel was not one that we selected personally. In relation to the shopping district, it is a walk - about 15 plus blocks. The hotel is located beside the park and we ad a lovely room overlooking the lake. The conference centre is only a stones throw away.... More

Stayed here for three nights at the start of a two-week US trip. The hotel is located on Michigan Ave. just across the road from Grant Park and is convenient on foot to all Loop locations (maybe ten minute walk). The closest El station ist Harrison (red line) and is approximately 2 blocks from the hotel. From there you can... More

Stayed here on a Saturday night while stopping over for a Cubs game. A beautiful building with tons of character. Our room was fabulous with a magnificent view from the 21st floor. The staff was friendly and attentive. They even offered to take our bags to our valet parked car when we wanted to check out nearby Millenium Park before... More
