All was well, from arrival to departure. The concierge lounge is not as roomy or nice as other location, but the attentive staff made it worthwhile. The Renaissance is a great hotel for both business and leisure. I stayed last week for business. Nice large room with a king bed. Plenty of space to spread out. Nice bathroom with Aveda soap, shampoo, etc. room service was very accommodating making me a nice artisan cheese plate for a late night snack.

Was in Chicago with my wife for a weekend visit. The renassaince was well priced, service was great, had a big room. The hotel is close to Michigan avenue, theater district and very convenient to subway for trip to and from ohare.

The renaissance is most impressive in its location. Overlooking the river and State street. Walking distance to the park, restaurants, Miracle Mile shopping, public transportation, etc. All just steps from the front door. The rooms are nice, not uber-luxurious, but nice. Wonderful bed!
