I have stayed at the Drake on 4 occasions now and still like it. While the rooms are showing their age they have been updated with new TVs, efficient A/C and nice beds. When you think of The Drake hotel you think classy, expensive, quality...not Centipedes. That's what we found in bathroom. Very gross!!! It overall was not what I expected. The room was old looking and not in a good way. It shows it years and is in desperate need of some TLC. My advice stay someplace else.

Elegant property in a great, convenient neighborhood. Walk to everywhere. Cabs all over the place. Lovely restaurants/bars.
