The pictures on the website are very misleading. Our room was on a Starwood Preferred Guest floor and the room was small. The bed filled the room with little space around it. The TV had static and overall the room was in major disrepair. Peeling wallpaper, dirty walls and carpets, hard pillows and a slow elevator with a peculiar knock....

Located in a perfect position to go anywhere. I was there for about 10 days in august 2008 and i could walk everywhere from the hotel. The room was big and comfortable with a view on the Magnificient Mile. Price was also not bad.
Despite reading some of these awful reviews - the price was right and so was the location so I risked a night's stay. Yes there is one elevator, though there is a service elevator too. Yes the rooms needs work - the wallpaper near the bathtub had that old crumbling look. But - for me the only truly bad part...

Next to Ditka's restaurant and a quick walk to the Tempo and Tower Place- a great location to see the sites and enjoy great food nearby. The hotel is old and needs updating.
