Everything works here. The rooms are fine. The staff are friendly and efficient. No reason to complain whatsoever. But is there anything worth remembering about this place? I can think of just one thing. The breakfast at 312 restaurant. There is soemthing about the atmosphere there that will remain in memory. 4 out of 5 overall.

Allegro is located on Randolph, closed to the opera, the symphony and the Art Institute. The staff is charming and in my experience fully bilingual in English and Spanish. great staff. beautiful large clean rooms. fabulous lobby. great location. and how could you not love and appreciate the wine happy hour every day from 5-6?! it's a great way to meet people from around the world who stay at this hotel. the allegro is my chicago go-to hotel!
