I stayed 2 nights at the Allegro this week for business. My room was tiny, with no real room to work, and the decor makes it look and feel dated and dirty. The hotel ran out of mini bar keys, so I couldn't even get a soda. The bathroom was microscopic. I won't be back.

The Allegro is situated in the theatre district, which was surprisingly quiet when we were there. For convenience, there is a 7-11, a block away, Walgreens, Arby's etc about 2 blocks away. The Hotel Allegro was perfectly situated in the Theatre District, a couple of blocks from the Loop and the Subway to the airport. Easy walking distance to all of Chicago's other sights as well. Perfect loop location on West Randolph. Taxis are always available and it's a two minute walk to El stop.
