Simply the best pub roast we have ever eaten. Delicious local meat, plenty of freshly cooked veg and loads of gravy. Furthermore, the food was piping hot which seems a bit of a rarity these days! Stayed in one of the smaller rooms which would have been cramped for 2 but was fine for 1. Some noise from the bar downstairs, but not much. Bed was fantastic. Room was spotless. Bathroom beautifully done with good complementary toiletries. Good hospitality tray. Would look forward to staying here again. Breakfast and bar meals good with good service.

Stayed in a large room overlooking the village. Spotlessly clean and well equipped with comfortable bed. The food was good for a country pub but a shame no comfortable chairs for drinks afterwards.
