This hotel exceeded my expectations on every level. It's a business-class hotel, at a reasonable price. Great location, in the heart of downtown Evanston. I'd stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Evanston for business or leisure.

The location of the Orrington is wonderful, near Northwestern, shops and great food. Wonderful place to walk around. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were booked into a standard room. Rooms were great. Bar tender at night was awful. Business accommodations were great as well. Central location many bars and restaurants to choose from. All within walking distance. That bar tender really was just bad. I tipped her well to start too, and nothing.

I've stayed here a few times now over the past 10 years. It's a convenient location if you are visiting Northwestern University. This hotel is not as new as some I've stayed in, but it was great. The staff was simply outstanding. It had a very comfortable room, free internet, and overall was wonderful. It was quiet and well located for the work I had to do.

I stayed in this hotel for business and although it is an older building it was upgraded appropriately. I had a King room which was surprisingly small (the bed took up most of the room) but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall good stay.
