Stayed overnight on Good Friday whilst attending a wedding. Very welcoming reception, staff couldn't do enough for us. Room very clean and warm. Nice view overlooking the River Severn. Plenty of Tea/Coffe supllies together with mints and biscuit. Good choice of breakfast and nicely cooked. Highly recommend to anyone

Stayed here on my own on first day walking the Severn way. Owners very attentive,recently refurbished room neat and well appointed. Evening meal was fresh and tasty, wine excellent. The breakfast wow. It was freshly cooked to order and perfect, enough for the largest appetite and set me up for the next lap to Newtown. Would recommend highly.

I stayed at the Lion for a business meeting the next day, the hosts at the Lion were very friendly and helpful, even offering to drop me off at my meeting location, even though it was in the same village. Room was very tastefully decorated with modern bathroom and TV etc. Breakfast very very tasty!
