We arrived at 11 at night and we greeted immediately. Friendly staff from front desk, breakfast area, housekeeping staff. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel was full both nights we were there, but we never heard anyone else. This is a nice Fairfield Inn and what I expect from a Fairfield.

Good service, great beds and bedding. Good Breakfast. Quiet and very clean. Fair price. Superb restaurants nearby in charming Galesburg. Would wish that management would set up a smoking and lounging area behind the hotel - it was disconcerting to walk through a haze of cigarette smoke and beer drinking men sitting on the benches by the door.

Galesburg doesn't have lots of choices. This Fairfield is dated in decor and design, but ok for a one or two night stay.
