After two years of staying at a competitor across the Interstate, I was hesitant to stay at a motel named Thrifty Inn. I was pleasantly surprised; ok...shocked. Clean and no bugs. The hotel is very worn but what do you expect for the price? The bed was uncomfortable so tried switching to the other bed and it was worse. We did enjoy the 10% off of select restaurants for staying there.

Check in and out went very smooth. At checkout, the desk clerk was very friendly and pleasant. We had such a nice chat that I was sorry to say good bye. Rooms were clean, there was a coffee pot and very comfortable.An overall nice place to stay. We stayed upstairs in which was $5..00 cheaper. Great place.

I stayed here one night coming from Memphis on my way back to the Chicagoland area. Located right off of I-57 on the east side of the highway. It's a three story motel with stairs only, no elevator. Stayed here on drive through on way back to Florida. Was pleased with place. Room was very nice and furnished nicely. Great value. Comfortable bed. Only thing lacking was no internet access. Would stay again!
