We stayed one night as part of a trip to Bath to go to the day spa. We had planned to go in Jan but got snowed off - The Kings Arms were really accommodating under the circumstances, for which I'm grateful, and I'm pleased we went there when we reorganised. We stayed in the smallest room which was very... More

Didn't eat thank god, visited for drinks. The atmosphere is like a ghost ship. So cold and dark and the dark dark green dated walls suck all the light and atmosphere out of the place. Despite candles and an open fire, its a cold unwelcoming atmosphere. The token jazz music playing in the background added to the spooky cold empty... More

Lovely village setting just outside of Bath. Excellent fields around for walking the dog and then enjoying a beer or two (dog friendly). Food is very good and service was unobtrusive and efficient. Lovely outside area looking over the lovely countryside.

We visited this lovely, rural pub last evening as a group of ten, which included 6 children of varying ages. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. On arrival we were given time to consider what we would like to drink and the menus to peruse at our leisure. To be honest, we all struggled to settle on one dish... More

We stayed here recently for a romantic night away, and it was great! Our room was enormous - much bigger than my first flat, with roll top bath, lovely shower, REN toiletries, and *an open fire* - proper romantic! A lovely touch was the range of Conde Nast magazines, from fashion to gardens, perfect for reading in the bath as... More

This is a fantastic pub in a very rural location. On the first night we stayed in a double room which was really cosy and well appointed although cold staff brought an extra blanket and floor heater. Had Sunsay roast for dinner. Everything was home made. The only disappointment was the roast potatoes which had been reheated and taste old.... More

Having heard a few friends mention Kings Arms we thought we would spend an evening there. We ate here at the end of September with a couple of friends. On arrival staff were attentive, the restaurant had about twenty people in at the time. We were shown to our table and drinks and menus were swiftly given out. I had... More

It was a birthday treat for my girlfriend, who was soon to become my wife, and we had the most wonderful 2nights stay. Massive bed with 9 pillows. Gorgeous bath. Open fire. Food very tasty. Easy to find. We wanted a private, exclusive weekend away from the normal trappings of life and certainly got it.

This is a review of the restaurant. I was not aware that it was a hotel. It was recommended to me during my stay at lucknam park. Wonderful setting and beautiful pub. I was disappointed that there was no lamb left and no more crackling left, but working in the industry I understand this happens. Food was good but expected... More

My husband and I were greeted by Tom and his great team on Friday 10th August when we stayed in this beautiful boutique hotel. Room 3 was huge atmospheric and beautiful and contained a free standing roll top bath at one end, in addition to a beautifully modern walk in shower room. The kingsize sleigh bed was extremely comfy and... More
