So happy the lake is now open for the season! With all the nice weather we have been having, I have been itching to get out for some fishing. Went yesterday for opening day and had a great time as always. Caught a few trout and saw people pulling in some catfish. Will be back again soon!!

How could anyone be negative about this place? It is beautiful and very family friendly. We can usually pull at least a few catfish out of Plainfield, even on the hottest of summer days. Trout fishin in the spring and fall is really good there. I can't wait to get back out there.
