We stayed at the InterContinental O'Hare over Memorial Day weekend. We usually stay downtown when visiting Chicago but decided to try the suburbs. I've stayed at quite a few InterContinentals in the US, Canada & Europe so am very familiar with the brand. However, I was very surprised with their O'Hare property. The design was much more contemporary than other... More

My family and I stayed at the InterContinental O'Hare in May 2012. The rooms are very large with a nice sitting area included. The bathrooms are equally as large and offer a wonderful "rain fall" shower head. The hotel staff were both friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel for a layover at O'Hare or a family weekend.

Clean, contemporary design, excellent artwork in the lobby, elegantly furnished in my minisuite. I still don't understand why an upscale hotel can't give free internet (not even in the lobby or the bar) when the lesser hotels in the same group offer such access. Good news, there's a McCormick and Schmick's and a Capital Grille literally right outside the front... More

Expensive for what you get. Place has kind of a modern vibe, which I personally liked. Room average size. Bed just average comfort. Some noise from the nearby airport. Bathroom fine but not luxurious. Room service was disorganized. When I called to cancel my order after waiting almost an hour and a half for a club sandwich, they acted relieved... More

I am a frequent traveler and user of ICH, and had never seen one close to an airport. Turns out this is the only one. It is brand new and really well appointed, clean and very pleasant. We were forced to book on short notice because other accommodation in Chicago fell through. It was fortunate to find a good hotel.... More

Recently stayed at the hotel for our company sales meeting. Room service is super quick . Coffee in morning 10 minutes ! Ultra modern decor in rooms. Good value - nice steakhouse within 5 minutes walking distance. Gym is also nice if you work out.

A quick trip to Chicago for a business meeting leads me to a very comfortable and hospitable stay at this hotel. The room was fresh, spacious and relaxing.

We enjoy staying in the Chicago area for long weekends away from Wisconsin. This hotel was a delight. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was helpful. The location is very near shopping, restaurants, convention center and extremely close to O'Hare. I would stay there again.

The rooms are very modern, new hotel, beautiful decor and very relaxing experience. Only downside was that the parking is super expensive 40$ a night

Thank you for your review of our hotel. We're pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay. One clarification - the hotel's parking charges are $22/day, not the $40 that you mention. We're pleased to offer rates that are as low as any other major hotel in the O'Hare market, and the rate includes in & out privileges for our... More
