We got kicked out because the assistant manager said we were hostile. She just does not have any customer service skills and was trying to get out of cleaning our room. Needed a room for the night going cross-country. Easy access, great room, quiet and clean. Excellent breakfast, and a wal-mart very close and handy. TV wasn't wide-screen, if that's important to you, but it is not to me.

When in Vandalia, IL this is the place to stay, I travel monthly & keep track of the hotels that make you feel at home & this is my newest on the list. Great stay!
