The front desk person helped us get a better rate when there was a booking snafu. She was very helpful and did not get flustered. The hotel was nice, nothing exceptional but clean and comfortable. Road construction out front made it hard to find the entrance.

mediorce defines property, except for price. rooms worn; hallways dingy and ill lighted; so-called breakfat bar typical carbo loaded bill-of-fare. coffee burnt and slow in being replentished with more hot burnt coffee. other than convienent to downtown Hinsdale, not much going for it. will do in a pinch, but a pinch still hurts.

Over the past year, I have stayed at four Best Westerns- Key West FL, Lexington KY, Oakland CA, and Oakbrook IL. They have all been pleasant stays. Highly recommend them. You're offered complimentary bottled water on check in and check out.

My husband and I stayed here for five nights because of a cancer treatment just down the street. Even though it wasn't a fun trip, the staff (Gaby, Lucy, Kelly) could not have been more helpful. The bed and pillows were the best that I can remember. The omelet lady and room service were wonderful as well.

The managers were accommodating and allowed us to adjust our room totals without any hassle. I continue to return to this hotel every time I visit Chicago, typically once or twice a year. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, service is great and breakfast is very good. All this, and the price is right. What more could you ask for?
