The pupose of my trip was to compete in the USA Masters Indoor Track & Field Championships at IU in Bloomington, IN. I enjoyed my stay at The Summer House Inn. The front desk staff was helpful, friendly, and professional. The location is about 3 miles from the IU campus. Good deal for the money.

Stayed for two weeks while waiting to move into our home. Great service by staff. Fun stuff to do, great for kids during the summer. Very lazy and relaxing. For your money, you get a really good deal.

This was homecoming weekend so I had trouble finding any motel less than 30 miles from Bloomington. This one became available and since I had low expectations it turned out to be satisfactory. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The location was a bit far from the IU campus, but actually convenient for shopping and eating.

This hotel has a nice lobby (although it smells like smoke) and friendly staff. I would work on getting a better housekeeper. In my second room (first non-smoking room was dirty and smelled like smoke) I had to buy cleaning products at Target and wipe down the furniture, spray the carpet with deodorizer.
