While the front desk personnel were very courteous, the room was not clean, there was garbage on the floor and the shampoo comtainer was half full (used) and the lotion container had dried lotion around the top of bottle, obviously used as well. The guide book in the room us outdated. We drove to an establishment to eat only to... More

This hotel gave my room away. When I arrived with a confirmation number for a reservation that was made well in advance there was an envelope waiting for me at the front desk. The person working at the desk said, "this is for you sir." Inside was a photocopied form letter in which my name was written in the blank... More

Next time I will consider the Hotel Indigo in central Columbus rather than the Courtyard which was a few miles away, closer to the highway. The facility was adequate, well appointed room, but nothing special. Breakfast, which cost an extra $8, didn't appear to be worth the cost compared to the area restaurants.

We spent 2 nights there for my birthday. We visited the Edinburgh outlet and Nashville(Brown County). Everything was clean. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Apparently breakfast is not free...but they didn't charge us either day. Also, I booked my room through pl and it was fifty five dollars a night!

Not one of our better stays at our favorite hotel chain. This Courtyard needs to work on its "cheap" linens and paper goods. The towels and face clothes were thin and rough. The tissue was like sandpaper, and the toilet paper was more appropriate for a cheap gas station. Bring you eye mask as the rooms get light under the... More

I have stayed at this hotel every year for the past 10 years in June. It is a nice little spot, not too large, not too small. The people who work here are always pleasant, especially the front desk. The buffet breakfast can be a hit or miss thing depending on who is working it that day, food is consistent,... More

I’ve been staying at this Courtyard off & on since it was first opened. It’s become my baseline for judging other hotels. It has the new Courtyard interior “Lite” in it, (the minimum items to meet the new standard) and overall service is good, but nothing outstanding . It still has the standard buffet breakfast set up, and they did... More

Brown County (Nashville) IN is an annual weekend “date with your wife” destination. Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Tipton Lakes in Columbus, IN is near the junction of I-65 and IN 46. My wife looks forward to our annual fall visit to Brown County, and we have enjoyed a number of properties in both Columbus and Nashville. The Marriott Courtyard is... More
