Thgis was a Microtel that changed to Econolodge a few years ago.We had stayed at the Microtel on numerous occasions visiting family and friends. It was since purchased, apparently, mideastern family. The owners dad, seems to be in the lobby most of the time nowadays as he lives there.I think another family members handles the rooms. We usually rented by the week, and we did that... When we got in our room - right next door to check-in, we found 2 live bugs jumping on us. When we went to the desk, they expained that the room was treated for fleas and they just opened it up today! How lucky for us! We immediately left the hotel!!

We had a great experience at this little hotel. The room was spotless, and Ernie at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. We were only there for one night, but when we need to be in Evansville overnight, we will certainly return there. The little continental breakfast was convenient and adequate. We highly recommend this for an overnight... More

When looking at the exterior and while in the lobby, one would think he or she was in an upscale hotel. The check-in lady was extremely nice. The room was TINY! The "king" size bed really filled the room and, with two people, it was really tight. The bed was low but pretty comfortable. The TV station selection was very... More

Let me start off by saying for $49.99 it is actually a really nice Econo Lodge compared to majority of Econo Lodges. With that said, it is by far the loudest hotel i've ever stayed at. I travel for business and stay in hotels 2-3 nights a week. I have stayed here before with minor noise problems, but didn't want... More

I stayed four days at this Econo Lodge just west of highway 164 off E. Morgan Ave. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the price was the best I could find in the area. The location was great since it provided easy access to I-64 going north and to Henderson, KY, going south. I definitely... More

I visited my friends in Evansville, IN and thought this place was worth my money. The room was approximately $56.00 including the $10.00 dog charge ($10 / night) for dog. The room included a couch, chair, king size bed and good a/c. They had an okay breakfast and the staff was very firendly. There was an area near the parking... More

On the way back from Illinois we stayed at this Econo Lodge using free choice privillege nights. "Free", good coffee and location were its only redeeming qualities. Place absolutely reeked with some kind of cleaner or air freshener. I've slept better on a mat in a tent than on their stained matreesses. Bathroom was definitely not the cleanest, with some... More

Wife, I and teenaged daughter were in town to register daughter for college at USI. Stayed at Motel 6 in Evansville a few years earlier and wanted someting a little bigger. We were happy with the room size and the large queen sized beds. We had a quick bite at the breakfast bar and it served its purpose. The motel... More

We stayed here because we had a free night, so I was prepared to be satisfied with anything. I didn't expect to be really pleased with it. The rooms appear to be either new, or newly refurbished. The room is large enough to comfortably hold two queen beds. As a former Microtel, I imagined everything to be small--just from the... More
