If you are looking for an average stay, this is fine. However, for the price, if you are expecting higher-end luxury hotel stay, this is not it. However, the walk ways from the hotel are very convenient.

It would have helped if when I called the hotel for directions from the airport that they mentioned they have no street access and the lobby is 4 floors up and you have to use the carpark ramp unless you bumped your bags up 4 floors of steps. Enjoyed my stay while in Indianapolis for business. Embassy Suites was the perfect stay and I didn't even need to leave the hotel. Hotel is connected to several dining spots and a fabulous shopping mall.

attended the FDIC conference last week in Indianapolis. Hotel location was good, sky walks take you everywhere so you can avoid bad weather everywhere. The hotel rooms were clean, service was good, free cooked to order breakfast was excellent. The only downside was a charge of $11.95 per day for a poor working version of internet access.

The only thing ES Downtown Indy has going for it is the location. Everything else about it is interstate Motel dreck. Loud rooms, and even LOUDER atrium noise sounds like a zoo field trip most hours, slow service, climate controls that don't seem to know what season it is, lobby restaurant that is only one step removed from vending machine...
