The Super 8 motel is on Franklin, not far from Interstate 94. Rooms are basic, breakfast is even more basic (cold cereal, bagels, buns or toast), but there is Wi-Fi, and the cost is low. On first glance the property seemed a bit dingy, but somewhat clean. However, the bath/shower faucet was not attached to the wall with exposed pipe, the shower did not work because the faucet lacked the pull pin for the shower, and the room had bed bugs. The staff was very nice on both shifts. The room was spacious and clean. The room was affordable, no surprises and even a Continental breakfast. I plan to stay there again soon.

Needed a room while traveling through on a weekend. All other rooms were over twice as much and found this room to be just what we needed; a clean room to sleep for a few hours with a small breakfast to get us going in the morning. Dirty, disgusting, gross. There was hair in the bathroom and the back door did not lock. The bed was only about a foot tall and was not at all comfortable. I woke up with a sore back and neck. We had 3 rooms for the weekend. Overall we were satisfied with the rooms. The hotel is close to the highway (Hwy 94) and about 10 minutes to the beach.
