There were a few places to choose from in the area, but I'm so glad we chose this one. The staff was friendly, and helpful. The Hotel was very clean and well maintained. We had a king bed with a with a separate seating area which made for a very spacious room. When we are back in this area we... More

This was our first stay here, but it will not be our last! The entire hotel was spotless and even smelled clean! The Amish oak furniture that decorated not only the rooms, but the dining area and communal space was beautiful! The location is perfect for shopping the area and the flea market. The breakfast buffet had so many choices... More

I booked this hotel based on reviews here on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. We had the King Whirlpool room at $139 + tax. Found room to be spotless clean and well designed layout. One of my favorite things was the positioning of the tv. Mounted on the wall at perfect viewing level when laying in bed. Most usually just... More

We took our teenage granddaughter there for Spring Break. The indoor pool was great and she loved the breakfast choices. The location was great - close to shopping and attractions both in Shipshewana and surrounding areas. Janice was helpful when making reservations and Angie made check in a breeze.

It is always clean, friendly, conveniently located, quiet and reasonably priced. There is so much to do in this quaint little town and it is always nice to have a nice place to return to... More

With a break in normal February weather forecasted for Friday-Sunday, I made last minute reservations @ the Van Buren Hotel to get out of town for a couple days. Sharette answered my call and was cheerful and accomodating to my 'minor' special requests. When I arrived, she gave me a friendly greeting, took my billing info, then sent me on... More

My family of five recently stayed in this hotel along with several other family members who stayed in several other rooms because of a wedding. All of the rooms were immaculately cleaned. Thank you for your honest words. I apologize for the inconvenience of little space for a roll-away. As we do know that space is limited in some of our rooms, we do want to keep the option of a roll-away available to all of our guests in need of one.
